April has felt pretty satisfying and I'm still trying to catch up on all the books (the library books keep distracting me). However, now I want to know: what was your month like?

Happy reading and have a happy May!

  1. You had a great month :D. And Libraries keep distracting me to. I have this plan to get caught up on my TBR and then I go the the library for school books and BOOM have a armful of new releases I have been dieing to read.
    Happy May Reading :D

  7. Oooh, 'You Look Different in Real Life' and 'Towering'! I'm excited to see what you think of them! :) But why is the great contemporary genre failing us?! It's my favorite genre, but I saw that the last 3 contemporaries disappointed you, and I can't think of a contemporary that I read for the first time this year that I *really* loved.
Love the David Tennant gif! :)

    1. I never realized that until I read all these comments. I don't know, but it saddens me. I can't think of one either :(

  8. I loved The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen. You got a good price for that one. I have You Look Different in Real Life, too. I read the debut by this author and I really enjoyed it, so I hope it's good too. One review a week is great for a no-pressure schedule. I end up reading and reviewing more, but if I cut back I know I'd have more time to savor my reads. Nice wrap up, Sunny. :)

  9. Wow April sounded like an awesome month for you. I'm so glad that you finally gave Shadow and Bone a go and loved it! I love all the books you received too, I can't wait to see how you get on with Unravel Me and Book of Broken Hearts! Also I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve to spread more joy! I hope May is just as much a fantastic reading month for you! :)
