Public Announcement: Holiday Giveaway!

Gillian Berry, blogger and owner of Writer of Wrongs, is hosting a FANTASTIC giveaway. Personally, I would not have heard of it if it were not for my sister, Shelver at Bookshelvers Anonymous, who follows her. So this post is for anybody out there who may also not hear of it. While I want to win, it is the season of giving (although Thanksgiving hasn't passed and that's being thankful which means if we are being thankful, aren't we getting something? No? I don't know, I just like the food). With it being the season of giving, sharing my knowledge and lowering my chances of winning will be a small sacrifice...I guess.

So why do I like this giveaway so much?

1. 13 awesome books. 13! My goodness, that would make my little bibliophile heart happy. Since I am squealing about this giveaway, it would make sense for me to strongly recommend checking it out! Cinder, Shatter Me, Seraphina, My Life Next Door, The Diviners...only to name a few of the books she's giving away. I haven't read most of them, but oh, I want to! My question is: don't you want to receive a box of book goodies right before Christmas? DON'T YOU?

2. I really like her blog. I am a newbie to it, however. Like I said, I hadn't heard of her or her blog or this giveaway until my sister told me on our run (when I say "our run" I mean I ran and she rode the bike next to me). But when I did hear about it, I promptly looked her up and read several of her posts. I got hooked, people. I loved how she wrote and felt as if she could be my best friend. She was that connectable. Finding bloggers like that is wonderful!

3. Because I just do. I love giveaways, I love books, and I love THESE books. Like I said, I haven't read some but I really want to read them. You know that phrase "Because I said so" that parents use all the time? Well, I am not a parent, but I'm using it right now. So go check it out...because I said so.

You will thank me later. Promise.
