Cover Love #9

Hosted by Bookshelvers Anonymous

I'm going with another Rapunzel-themed cover this week, I could not resist!

Author: KC Hilton

Publication date: 2013

Publisher: Still unknown

My tale has been told again and again, and I’ve heard each one. Except for my hair, I barely recognize the pitiful renditions. Muddled versions, crafted to entertain laughing children…but the children wouldn’t have laughed if they’d known the real story. It wasn't their fault. They didn't know the truth. Nobody did.

My name is Rapunzel and I will tell you my story. I will tell you the truth.

It's Rapunzel. She looks like she is about to fight. Personally, I like the lighting. I'm not too sure about the different patterns in the light, but they must be important, right? I'm not sure if this cover is actually pretty or if it is my biased, Rapunzel-loving mind that goes "Ooh!"

Along with my love for this cover, the synopsis gets me insanely excited. It's a win-win.

What cover do YOU love this week?

  1. I love the Rapunzel hair on the model on the cover. Definitely lets you know what it's about without even looking at the title. I'm pretty curious about this one. Ever since Tangled I have had a new love for this character. :)

  2. This book sounds so good, and I like the lighting around her too! And, of course, I love her hair, but especially the fact that it's braided around the front/over her forehead because I haven't seen it like that on a Rapunzel yet! :)

  3. Dang, there are a lot of Repunzel re-tellings lately. I think this is the 3rd or 4th I've seen in the past 2 weeks. It is a pretty cover, though.

  4. For some reason, this one reminds me more of Cleopatra. I think it is the yellow horse (dragon? LOL) in the background, it makes it seem almost Egyptian. Like the cover though, and looking forward to the story!

  5. Hey Sunny,
    Thanks for visiting my blog!
The cover looks really pretty here, and so very tantalizing, even though I'm not very into fantasy. Well, hope you'll get your chance to read it! :)

    Much Love <3
