  2. I like the cover of Dear Mr. Knightley! And congrats again on getting whitelisted!!! :)

The End of Year Book Survey, I've almost finished answering it, but I have a feeling I've written a little too much... I've picked more than one book for almost every question. It's too hard to narrow down to just one book for each one! :) I'll probably post it later this month. What kind of hard time are you having with it?

    1. I think you would like it! Thanks!

See, I have the opposite problem. I forgot to take note of all the books I've read this year (I swore to do it too) and now find myself forgetting ones that I KNOW would would great. I'm just now being good on Goodreads so I can't depend on that either. For some of them, I feel like I'm repeating my answer too many times.

    2. You're welcome!

I totally understand that. I used to never write down or keep track of anything I read. At all. Until I started getting really frustrated about it, because whenever I needed to remember the books I read, only a few I would actually remember by name. I'm still pretty horrible with Goodreads, though. It seems like I'm always forgetting to add books on there. Instead, I keep a folder near my desk with a few sheets of paper in it (Yes, I still like to write things out by hand. I'm weird. (:), and throughout the year when I finish a book I write it down there. I find I'm better at keeping up with what I've read that way. It works better for me, at least. (but I still forget sometimes.) :)

I felt that I was repeating my answer a lot too. I'm just going to say that if I manage to list the same book multiple times, it's because it's that good. :)

And now I will end this comment, which turned out to be way longer than I thought it would be. :)

  5. It is so unbelievably hard to show restraint when it comes to those Harper titles, Sunny! Trust me! I'm not great at read-a-thons either, but I hope you do really great at yours! Reach those goals, girl! :) I've got the survey queued up as a pending post, but that's as far as I've gotten. D'oh. It's so hard to narrow it down when I've read 200 books this year! Hope you're enjoying all your new reads! :D

    1. IT IS, MY GOSH. Self-control is already a hard trait for me. Thanks, Jen! Wow, you go, Jen, 200! I have a problem because I didn't write everything down and I definitely read more in the later part of the year...I feel like I'm repeating the books on the list!

  6. Congratulations on getting whitelisted for Harper - Harper! - and good luck using self-restraint! I noticed you gave TEASE a bad rating on Goodreads, and I'm interested to hear your full thoughts on the book. I still need to follow your DEAR MR. KNIGHTLEY recommendation, and the beautiful cover is tempting me.

    1. Eeeep, yes! Oh goodness, I haven't had time to, but after I DNF'd it, I had a rant forming in my head so hopefully I'll still be able to hold on to a little bit of that rage. I hope you do :)
