You had a great month :D. And Libraries keep distracting me to. I have this plan to get caught up on my TBR and then I go the the library for school books and BOOM have a armful of new releases I have been dieing to read.
ReplyDeleteHappy May Reading :D
Yes, I so know the feeling!
DeleteWow, you had a great month, Sunny! And I know the feeling...too many books to distract you! You seem to be getting through them pretty well, though. :) Hope you enjoy all those new reads! And happy May to you, too!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jen!
DeleteThat GIF for not winning anything. lolol You have These Broken Stars! And wow, you need some good contemps for May to make up for what you found in April. Thanks for sharing all of this!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I wondered who would appreciate that ;)
DeleteLooks like you had an awesome month. I love the Gif for what you didn't win lol. But you still got lots of other awesome books this month! I hope May is even more amazing for you.
ReplyDeleteTowering and Fairy Godmother Inc look like such amazing books. I can't wait to read them.
ReplyDeleteMe either!
DeleteLOL - The David Tennant gif is perfect. Well, I'd say you had a pretty good month! I have You Look Different in RL, too. I hope it's good. Hope you have a great May!
ReplyDeleteThanks ;)
DeleteOooh, 'You Look Different in Real Life' and 'Towering'! I'm excited to see what you think of them! :) But why is the great contemporary genre failing us?! It's my favorite genre, but I saw that the last 3 contemporaries disappointed you, and I can't think of a contemporary that I read for the first time this year that I *really* loved.
ReplyDeleteLove the David Tennant gif! :)

I never realized that until I read all these comments. I don't know, but it saddens me. I can't think of one either :(
DeleteI loved The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen. You got a good price for that one. I have You Look Different in Real Life, too. I read the debut by this author and I really enjoyed it, so I hope it's good too. One review a week is great for a no-pressure schedule. I end up reading and reviewing more, but if I cut back I know I'd have more time to savor my reads. Nice wrap up, Sunny. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rachel!
DeleteWow April sounded like an awesome month for you. I'm so glad that you finally gave Shadow and Bone a go and loved it! I love all the books you received too, I can't wait to see how you get on with Unravel Me and Book of Broken Hearts! Also I can't wait to see what you have up your sleeve to spread more joy! I hope May is just as much a fantastic reading month for you! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you very much! I hope so too :)
DeleteIt looks like you had a brilliant month, Sunny. I'm glad you finally got around to Shadow and Bone! That book is a dear favourite of mine. I also really like the sound of These Broken Stars and The Vow. I can't wait to see what you think of them. Enjoy your new books! :)
