Bookish (and not-so-bookish) Happenings:
- I got the Bloomsbury Kids' 2014 Fall Catalogue! Do you know what that means? Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas, ya'll.
- I meant to do a review this past weekend...but couldn't find time. Tis life.
- But why didn't I do a review? BECAUSE SCHOOL IS EVIL. Save yourselves, kids.
- At least I'm doing a read-along with Lauren and Heather. Somewhat.
- One of my best friends is reading The Fault in Our Stars (and her sister after). Question: Does it make me a bad friend if I'm betting on if she'll cry? *shrugs*
My life. |
Ugh, ugh, ugh. School interferes with too much life. I barely have time to read, much less review and blog. Well, good luck with that.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kat! I agree, it really does interfere.
DeleteAw, Summer, I'm sorry things are so tough for you right now. It'll get better, though! Just keep your chin up. Also, Florida weather sounds a lot like Texas weather. We have a saying around here that if you don't like the weather, give it five minutes because it's likely to change soon. :) Also, we can experience all four seasons in a single day. It's crazy. :)
ReplyDeleteYay for The Kiss of Deception! I seriously loved that one so hard. Like, as much as, if not more than, The Winner's Curse. :D I can't wait to hear what you think. I don't think I could have buddy read that one because I seriously couldn't put it down.
Thanks, Jen! Ha, then yes, Texas really does sound like Florida!
DeleteI haven't read the Winner's Curse yet so that needs to be read asap for me!
I like your Florida weather analogy, but I'm sorry that you're currently stuck in a thunderstorm. :( Keep pushing through - in a few short years you'll graduate and have school behind you! Of course, then you'll have a bunch of adult problems to deal with, but let's not think about that right now. Meanwhile, at least you have some new books to help you through.
ReplyDeleteYou know me and my analogies ;) At least it's not another food metaphor! *sighs* I know, I was just thinking that here I am complaining about school and I just signed away a couple more years of my life to it.
DeleteThat whole thing you wrote about Florida weather is totally true. And I totally agree with it. I hope everything in your life goes from Florida weather to... Wherever there's very good weather all the time! (Where has the best weather?) Did that make sense at all? :)
ReplyDeleteAll the Boys I've Loved Before looks good, I have been looking forward to it! Have a wonderful week! :)
I understood ;)
DeleteAw, that sucks. School can be such an incontinence at times. ;) You'll kick its butt though. Hope April is better for you, Summer.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christy!
