Top Ten Tuesday: Authors I Own the Most Books From

Hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
So this is being posted super late thanks to many things (work, stress, no time, and Blogger messing me up). But it's here! It's listed! I didn't list an author that only or mostly adult books listed (otherwise, I'd have a lot more authors and extending it beyond 10). I got a lot of these books from my local thrift store, yay for cheap books! This is NOT including ebooks because I'm just lazy, okay?.

  1. Great list! And I love that you included photos, too. I think the top of my list number-wise was Diana Wynne Jones, but my shelves are in disarray, so I guessed at the whole thing. :)

    1. Haha, I was going to guess and just put author names (who'd know, right?) but got a little crazy with organization ;)

  2. Ahh, Ally Carter! Janette Rallison! Tamora Pierce! Love! And I love the way the GG books look all lined up! :)The author I own the most books by would probably be carolyn Keene (I have a lot of ND books!) with 2nd going to Laura Dower, a MG author whose books I love! :)

  4. I love how you did the actual pictures of your books. I started to do that, but it just didn't work. A majority of my books, especially my favorite authors that I buy TONS of books from, are often audiobooks or on my Kindle. It takes me longer to read a physical book, since kindle books are easier and audiobooks are faster, so I often buy my favorite authors in one of those two ways. Thus my shelves didn't show the right numbers. So we went with our favorite book from each author instead. :) Rainbow Rowell made my list too. And Sarah Dessen was sooooo close. :)

    1. I probably annoyed my dad for doing so because I made him wait while I took the pictures (we were about to watch a movie;) That's a great idea!

  5. Dang! I don't think I've ever really committed to an author like that. I mean I have series books that top out at six or seven but I don't really own multiple works by them although I'm not sure why. This is really cool! Love the pictures :)

  6. I love this TTT prompt! It's so much fun to read people's responses. Ally Carter is an amazing author, and it's definitely a must to own all of her books ;) I'm curious about Robin Jones Gunn, too. I've seen her books around in a few places, but I haven't read them. Great picks :)

  7. I think I need to read me some Tamora Pierce, because I keep seeing her name everywhere! I think 5 is my highest number? Mostly because a lot of the books I buy is for Kindle.

  8. This post makes me feel like my bookshelves are a bit starved. :( I think the most books I own by any one author is three, so I enjoyed looking at all the pretty titles that you have.

  9. Ha, I KNEW you'd have a ton of Ally Carter books on your shelf, lol. I've still yet to read one of her books, but I did get the audio for the first book in the Gallagher Girls series. Here's hoping I love it as much as you do!
